Núria López-Bigas is interviewed by PCM4EU about the CGI-Clinics project
CGI-Clinics Project Coordinator Núria López-Bigas was interviewed in October 2023 by the team at Personalised Cancer Medicine for Europe, an EU-funded project aiming to improve the survival rates and quality of life of cancer patients in the EU using PCM based on best practices.
Dr. Loic Verlingue of Centre Léon Bérard led the discussion with Dr. López-Bigas, who highlighted the context and importance of the CGI-Clinics project in the precision medicine ecosystem.
“CGI-Clinics’ results show that 80% of variants originating from mutations observed in cancerous tumours do not appear in any database” she explains.
